Hey all you tight arse's out there and those like me who can't decide what exaust system to go for yet GET THIS DONE!!!
I had my rear muffler cut off just after it comes over the axle and two pipes welded on straight out the back, sounds awsome, no drone just rumble.
Plus had it re dynoed after on the same dyno in Shootout mode and it made
239.0kw stock 246.6kw no muffler! Apart from no rear muffler there are no other mods at all. Not bad considering the exaust placed charged me $160.00.

$160 to get them to cut your pipe and weld 2 bits of pipe on that cost about $15 each....glad your happy!!

I think thats a bit pricy. But then again look at the herrod system $3000 and 20 kws. So for an extra $2840 you'll get 11.5 kws.???

I did this and my bum-o-metre reported a loss in power and it droned like a bastard if I was doing 70 in 4th. 70 in 3rd no problem, it was fine if the revs were high. A couple of hot dogs instead of the straight thrus made things all better...just my experience....

Would like to do that but knowing my luck, plod would pull me over and yellow sticker me..............as long as he does'nt stick it on sideways it would be tolerable :(
