I was talking to the guys at PSi in perth today about getting a unichip mod done on my GTP,Now what they also said was that they modify the air box in behind the bumper.Does anyone know what they are talking about and/or is it something i can do.

Dunno about about taking your car to PSI, let alone any other tuning place in Perth, but hey theres always a first.
I'd like to know what they're taliking about in regards to the intake, let us know how you go.
After fitting my SS T/body on friday night i had a look for the apparent intake in behind the bumper and guess what there is F$%& all there except wiring for the fog lights.
Another lot of misguided information from a tuning house.
There is the factory intake under the headlight which is behind the bumper, but if this is modified it usually to add an intake from above the radiator.

Fordy there are plenty of very smart guys when it comes to tunning in Perth,
Its just that there hasnt been anything avaliable to do what we need on the ford PCM. Look at the ls1 guys here in Perth.... You can bet there are many a LS1 tuner that will have the Advantage software.
Not to mention Peter that Is involved with BPT whos a VERY VERY smart guy with tuning

Yoot:So now that mine has SS CAI does that mean that they took out the intake from behind the headlight to fit the CAI.All i can see in the intake dept is the CAI wrapped around the original filter housing.?
