Limited Edition Futura helps to mark 75th Anniversary

Ford Australia has released the ‘75th Anniversary Futura – Limited Edition’, packed with a range of extras to help customers celebrate 75 years of Ford in Australia.

"Ford Australia has a long and proud history in Australia," said Falcon family brand manager, Roger Gray. "The limited edition 75th Anniversary Futura is another chapter in an ongoing story."

Exterior
The 75th Anniversary Futura – Limited Edition is easily identified. Unique 16" sports alloy wheels and side skirts give the car an athletic stance.
Rear vision mirrors are body coloured while the bumpers and bodyside protection mouldings have a bright insert, and ‘75th Anniversary’ badges are located on each front fender. The chrome grille surround and exhaust tip complete the exterior highlights.

Interior
The interior of the limited edition Futura is finished in a unique velour style trim within a warm charcoal environment. A leather wrapped steering wheel has also been added. The standard CD sound system has been upgraded to a 6-disc, in dash CD player with six speakers system, power windows are standard on front and rear. 75th Anniversary floors mats and door badges complete the interior package.

A Piece of History

As part of its 75th Anniversary year a detailed history of Ford in Australia has been compiled. Owners of the 75th Anniversary Futura – Special Edition will receive a copy of "True Blue – 75 Years of Ford in Australia" when it is released later this year.

Available Options
In addition to the standard driver and passenger airbags, CD-player, air-conditioning and automatic transmission, customers can choose from a wide variety of options that include factory fitted dedicated LPG or a Tickford-fitted dual-fuel system. An optional heavy duty tow pack allows the Falcon to tow up to a ‘best in class’ 2300kg.

Colour Range
The 75th Anniversary Limited Edition will be available in five exterior colours including ‘Sand Storm’ which will only be available on the limited edition model. Meteorite, Monsoon Blue, Sparkling Burgundy, Organza are also available.

Recommended Retail Price
The recommended retail price for the 75th Anniversary Futura is $34,845.
