My dealer phoned me up today, I could not believe it when he said that the leather was an option on the GT and GT-P.
It will end up costing me another 2 G for leather and 900 for premium sound.

Has anyone else heard from thier dealer and if so what did they find out.

I would have thought that leather was standard at least. Like the T.

Sounds like bollocks.

Wihdraw your order and re-order it when the final specs and pricing are out, otherwise they'll take you for a ride.

If it hasn't [leather seats] then I guess they'r keeping to the old G.T heritage of GRUNT and HANDLING & $$ as the main points for G.T. A higher speck prestige and heavier car could come out latter..
Leather has its good and bad points...

I knew about the leather thing a while ago. Look, it's a simple thing - the feature is either standard or you have to option it - either way it's gonna cost extra. There are many people who prefer cloth trim and so I sort of agree with the option thing.

There's one problem with options though - resale. Add a few options onto your car these days and it can quickly be a five figure enhancement to the car. Try telling the noddy valuing your car about that at trade-in time!
