I just happen to be in a Ford forum now... I can understand some might be sceptical of my comments but there is no stirring the pot on my part, I assure you. I actually like the look of the Fords more than the Holdens but I'm still a little partial to GM.

Why do you think I left the other forum... I'm sick of all the nonsense there... sick of all the sales talk. I've spent dollars looking for a decent tune. It was better to throw my dosh away than to take it to certain 'reputable' tuners.... that's why I do my own tunes... no stalling and no driveability issues anymore. :)

Anyway, it's all off-topic. Just telling you things from my angle, that's all.

Now back on topic. :D

Yeah no worries dude no body wants to throw money after money with these cars as they are half a house$$$$$.

l can assure you that Chris is 110% to his customers as guys on here and on the au forum will say.
Chris has spent countless hours away from home sometimes doing 16-17 hour days developing and testing for his customers. Things that actually work not like some others as Herrods who just like to take your cash for things that don't work......And on the idle and drivability of these cars they idle fine like standard and drive like standard got to love that....
Mate anytime your in the Campbellfield area feel free to drop in to his workshop he loves a chat...

Gee thanks for the invite. :) I appreciate it! I'd love to drive down and see Chris. I reckon we could talk for a while.

I've got a lot of respect for Chris. He definitely knows his stuff and has the results to back himself up. He sounds like he has a lot of energy. I'm sure he will crack the 11s soon. Good things come to those who work hard. Put it this way, if ever I own a Ford, Chris would be the first person I see.

Cheers mate.

Whenever I meet up with the Ford boys I usually spend more time with them than my LS1 buddies. I don't build a border and protect it, I like to listen to what the enemy has to say. Hey my best mate is a Ford man. He's looking to get into a GT from his humble (read boring) 325i. I should tell him to see Chris when he's ready...

It's incredible the power the Boss engines are putting out. I'm still not sure if I believe it... truth be told, not really. Anyway we might as well pack up even our mighty LS2s as the edited LS2s with bolt ons only crank out 260rwkw. That's well down on the 300rwkw Boss engines. If I had to have an engine to put numbers down the quarter, I know which I'd choose. But which would you choose... and why?

Re: BA GT runs a 294rwkw

Hi guys,

I would choose a commodore as a strip weapon. It is always easier to launch a lighter car with less power over a heavier car with more power.

10 years of racing dragsters and sedans tell me this. In the A/street class, people can elect to run a 3400lb commodore with a 355cube motor or they can run a 3000lb car with a 304.

The lighter cars always run the numbers. More weight with more grunt loads the car up more, and we start to find weak spots.

Believe the dyno sheets you guys are seeing - my car is 1960kg with me in it, making 266 kw at the tyres, running a 12.3@111.

If you do the math, you will find it is on the money, however i have had my share of breakages from the flywheel back.......
