BA GTHO

Do you reckon Ford should build it? If so what Specs should it have and just how much should it toast the HSV's?

350 - 400 kw's
680 - 720 Nm

full leather seats, 19" wheels, quad pipes, 300+Km/h top speed and times of 0-100 in about 4.4 sec and 1/4 mile in about 12.13 sec.

Hplden/HSV wouldn't know what to do

My oath!!They have to break new ground, If they start cracking 12's all day and can pull 300k's, Holden will have a kitten. (excuse the pun)

Personally I'd say no. I'd love to see a faster GT but I wouldn't use the HO name. The HO was only used on the Bathurst prepared XWs & XYs. It'd be a waste applying it to a non-Bathurst car.

So if they build it to have a crack at the Bathurst 24 hrs It would pass your pre-requisites?

I can understand your point, But what better way to sell a Fast GT than call it GT-HO?

Personally i think using another name would create a sales disaster. I doubt GTS would be as desirable if it were called something else, Clubsport-Z8 for example.
