BA GTs what a great touring car

Took the beast for a quick spin down the Highway to Horsham last Sunday, the more you drive these GTs it really makes you appreciate how refined these GTs are as a touring car and the brute power available when needed to overtake, before you realize your doing 160 kph and then a slight press of the Brembo's and your doing the speed limit again that combined with the climate control and SatNav makes these cars most enjoyable to drive and you arrive fresh and not tired at all.
Averaged 12.5 L/100 for the trip which was pretty good i thought. The trip back from Horsham took me 3hrs 20min to the eastern suburbs.
Cheers John

Re: BA GTs what a great touring car

Just need a bit more range that is all. Nothing like a GT for overtaking though.

Re: BA GTs what a great touring car

The open road is definately this car's forte.......

Got 11.8/100km going to Margaret River for the day.

Looks like the SS CAI does improve economy, and that figure was with a bit of overtaking.

Re: BA GTs what a great touring car

I'm headin up to the Sunshine Coast for a couple of weeks this Saturday, expecting to do around 5,000 k's for the trip, so will be very interesting to see how the beast travels and what sort of economy she gets. Will keep you lot posted.
