greetings all
i have heard a rumour that FORD & F.P.V. have stoped shipping cars built with the V8 engine in them due to an engine fault

can anybody shed some light on this

dads gt-p is number 0079......i expect if they've had any probs that we woulda heard of them by now?

yes it is the "BOSS" engine as that's what i am waiting on, however i think it may be all of the V8 engines

All Boss V8 engines are due for a recall.

Apparently the engines put out their rated power just after the engines are built, and when they are run in, they put out a lot more than they are supposed to.

Recalls will put in smaller valves, reduce the lift of the cam, and put an intake restrictor in to reduce the power output.

yes this is for real

i rang to see if my car had arrived @ FPV & was told

" due to a fault with the V8 engines FORD are not moveing any of the V8 equipted cars & neither is FPV

hope that this does not go on for to long

If its giving more power than its supposed to then whats the problem. How many people are going to get the GTs fixed of the problem.
