Yesterday at about 4:30 pm the beast clocked over 50,000 km.
I am getting worried.....
It doesn't eat oil.
It gets pretty good mileage.
The brakes are really good and have no knock off or fade.
It doesn't rattle.
The paint and fitting is good (well there ARE stone chips)
The tyres seem to last pretty well.
It still does well over 200 km/h and blows away the odd commy or ricer. (not on the road of course)
It still feels tight and "new" (and I drive the odd new one)
I have, however, had my first warranty claim. I was cleaning the mags and noticed a bad mark on one of them. I showed the dealer. He gave me a new one, changed the tyre and balanced it. Took about 30 mins, no charge.
Maybe, just maybe, I bought a REALLY GREAT CAR.......

well done!
These beasts challenged the dark side and showed them the strength of V8 performance.
hsv should have named there junk The VY HSV AR (Almost Real)
enjoy!
I drive, I vote and I'll go out of my way to see you out of government Mr Bracks. You lied your way into power and you lie to keep it. Enough lies!!! You're out of here!
Out of curiousity, Flappist, how many Klms did you get on a set of the Dunlop 9000's?
I changed the first set at 22,000 km because I was going up to the NT to have a blast and thought that new tyres might be a good idea. I still have them and they are a bit over half worn. I did the FPV day with them and that HAS to about a squillion Ks worth. I will use them one day or maybe sell them to a ricer who wants genuine 300km/h 'GT' tyres for his Hyundai.
The current ones have 28,000 on them and are going strong.
