I know this may have been covered before. I would like peoples experience with the CAI- SS or BPT. As there is alot of claims but independent data would be appreciated.
I drive, I vote and I'll go out of my way to see you out of government Mr Bracks. You lied your way into power and you lie to keep it. Enough lies!!! You're out of here!

Make your own one....It would be far cheaper & would work just as well.
Pm me.
Cheers.

IMHO, SS if you want to pay the bucks and drive at real high speed, or Battens if you drive sanely and just want a good extra air feed.
Home made . Unless your really good with fiddly things don't be cheap and silly. These are $70k cars, for the sake of a couple of hundred dollars would you nail bits of packing case to serve as shutters on the windows of a new home? I think not.

How much is the BPT version? After hearing what it has done for Jeff's car I want one of those!! It will most likely be the only 'mod' I do on this car and I drive sanely (most of the time..lol)
I've had both version, the 1st one i had is actually the one Jeff has now
I'm a bit more happy with the SS version, it seemed to have more pull noticeable from in the car, but is a fair bit more expensive than the BPT one
Also, with the bonnet shut the SS version isnt as big as it looks with the bonnet up....there is only 8mm of room for air to get in. This would apply for both, but still it is an improvement over the stock airbox.
I'm sure over time we'll see improved versions hitting the market of varied design

I got my BPT one about a year ago and it was about $320 inc postage, with the K & N filter. I believe it may contain a few extra bits now and the option of a BMC filter so i'm unsure how much now. Email Barry bpt@norcom.net.au for more info, he's pretty quick with responding too
As for the SS Induction CAI it's more expensive, but I got mine off a bloke who got it for himself and never installed it so I ended up getting it, so i'm not sure how much new. From what i've heard it is $500+ depending on where you go, probably asking around for prices or even getting direct from SS Inductions and installing yourself if you can will be alot cheaper
