\Syc"o*phant\, n. [L. sycophanta a slanderer, deceiver, parasite, Gr. ? a false accuser, false adviser, literally, a fig shower; ? a fig + ? to show: cf. F. sycophante. The reason for the name is not certainly known.] 1. An informer; a talebearer. [Obs.] ``Accusing sycophants, of all men, did best sort to his nature.'' --Sir P. Sidney.
2. A base parasite; a mean or servile flatterer; especially, a flatterer of princes and great men.
A sycophant will everything admire: Each verse, each sentence, sets his soul on fire

we have actually made a change on the car & droped around 6 Rwkw on the dyno but like always i dont just rely on the dyno so we took it out to the blacktop to give it a run, i went a consistant 12.92 to 12.96 & Mph were all 107 & 108s
the 12.62 was a bit of a fluke & i have not been able to back my time up but you never know whats around the corner, how about you can we temp you to come out one night
Why was Calder cancelled tonight, the weather seemed pretty clear on the way out there and I didn't hear anything on the radio about it being cancelled. Hopefully it will be on again next Friday.

the decision to open or not is made earlier in the day & is subject to the weather that is approaching on the radar
Mark & I left Airport West at around 7.00 PM & the weather looked great but as Mark got to Broadmeadows he said the roads were very wet
it may have rain'd on the track late in the afternoon & if this happens they carnt prep the track as if you try to prep a wet track it just gets worse & there will be no grip at all
