I had one for my EL XR6, used it to go to Adelaide and back, saved the front of my car really well.
Used it a couple of times after that, but found it too labourious to put on and off all the time and once I got few stone chips it really was'nt worth the hassle.

I had one on my previous car TE50 and only used on country or interstate trips, at this stage i haven't bothered to get one for my GT yet.
Cheers John

I had to go down to North West NSW (750 k trip) last week, coming home spotted 3 cars with car bras and 2 were flapping in the breeze. In my opinion I think you could do more damage to the duco with them then without after what I witnessed.
^^^^Sorry guys I used to think the same.
My XR is for work and play and the AU nose is the best for getting stone chips.
I do 6 odd country trips a year plus hols with the family, my Car Bra fits like a glove, if they are flapping it means the silly bugger hasn't looked after it and the strap or hook has broken,it needs to be looked after like everything, If a elastic strap is getting weaker get the wife or whoever to sew a new one on.
The little amount of chips I have is nothing if I didn't have my bra on lol.......
I couldn't care less if ppl think its a wank, I love having less stone chips.

The moisture issue is only a problem if you leave the car bra on for extended periods of time, eg; 3 or 4 days or a day or two after heavy rain.
As for movement, as ol Blue says they fit like a glove, and are well sewn together.
