this has nothin 2 do with FPV as far as i know but i was wondering if anyone else has seen in the paper the other week that ford have rereleased the GT-40 now just called GT as far as i could tell from quickly skimming artical. I wonder if i am interprating this right can anyone please say if they saw it too..... i will try and get some pics off the artical later for those who have not seen it..... ok later

yes, the GT40 is no longer called the GT40 because of the naming rights not belonging to Ford.

The GT40 was originally only called the GT, but dubbed GT40 because of its 40" height from the ground...

The person owning the GT40 name was asking too much for the rights for Ford to use it, so they just ended up calling the new one "GT".

that and the fact the new one is either (unshure) 42" or 46" tall

apparently procar might let the all new Ford GT race in nations cup next year (that's if someone is willing to buy one, import and then race prep it)

hopefully someone does all i can say is look out "monaro" (said with sarcasm) and cant wait

The "Roaring Forties" down in Dromana make the best kit car GT40 in the world and thats a well known fact.

Yeah the Yanks are really impressed with the GT40 car kit they say that its the best ,the owner is Robert Logan and they are built in good old Victoria.
