biggrin Driven a GT?

Has anyone driven a GT. I don't mean to brag, but I have!!! And I can't wipe the dammed smile off my face. I have two words to shout

BLOODY AWESOME

Sitting behind that bonnet bulge and hearing the V8 idle was allmost enough. Taking 1st gear, letting the clutch out and applying the throttle heavilly, put me in instant heaven.

BLOODY AWESOME

Taking off without slipping the clutch or using any revs and then applying the throttle heavilly results in wheel spin, through to 2nd.

BLOODY AWESOME

For all those who don't like the "look" of the new GT. You'll forget it once you drive the beast. I'm worried now as the N/A XR6 that I have on order may have to grow into a GT. Nah can't justify the expense on my wage. But if I sell my left nut and work double shifts I might be able to do it!!!!!!

did I say

BLOODY AWESOME

certainly was!!! uptil now I thought the XR6T was the go as I have driven all the others and although the felt better in some ways the gains over the turbo were not huge. The 290kw and 520Nm of the GT is certainly a big gain. Still can wipe the grin off and it was 2 hours ago I drove it.

Err, dont wish to rain on your parade, but how did you drive one? There still in prototype form aren't they? Was it 5 or 6 speed? hehe.

If you did drive this thing, I'm all ears!!!
