Well the Beast got Dynoed today and to say the least IT WAS SWEET! 239.0kW How good is that! Got to be Happy.

Would be happy to post the printout if someone tells me how to!
if you have it scanned in, you want to post a reply... Down below the button to submit the post, there is another button which says manage attachments... Find the scanned dyno sheet, and upload the file. The file size will have to be less than 100kb i think...
hahah if thats stock theres another one of those FREAKS again
That prooves it and makes it official Simon
THE POWER FAIRY DOES LIVE FAR AWAY IN THE EASTERN STATES :wgaf:
As long as The Boss can keep smashing 300kW Monaros at the lights I'll be happy. Still if we moved east we might pick up another 20rwkws
Hmmmm theres a thought. Hang on relocating your life = at least $20,000
For a grand a kW I'll take a blower thanks

Sorry Guys but its FPV's fault! My GT is a May 2004 build and I know a number of other guys here in Canberra that have early numbered GT's 0-300 expm.. and they have had nothing but problems with everything from making good power, diffs, excesive oil, clutch etc.. Mine has had none of this and despite only having 2800klms on it once I had run it in ever time I drive it I'll rev it to redline a least acouple of times!
Seems like FPV might of got things right finally thanks to guys like you telling them what was wrong. I guess somebodys got to be the guinea pig?
And according to APS most GT's should be making 230-235kW at the wheels!
But its a genuine 239.0kW. Still trying to work out how to downsize the scan of the Dyno sheet to under 100kb, until then I can't post it. Any tips on how to do this would be great so I can get it posted.

Hi BB-GT
Mate please don't think I was having a go at you, more a private joke between myself and GTP-330. Having said that, I think there were a lot of good cars also made in the early days, but as you said there was also a few duds. There does seem to be a 15-20 kW power improvement in the eastern states and the only things I can put it down to is 1. The atmospheric conditions although after visiting APS for the UNICHIP and driving back to WA my car has maintained its power, so this is not entirely feasable. The second thing is that ALL THE GOOD PERFORMANCE MECHANICS LIVE IN THE EAST. Regardless of that I'm pleased you got a good one and that FPV seems to be producing better product now. Roll on the series 2.
