Ef2 Xr8 Manual Diff Size - Ford Forums

Hey all,
I need to know what size the standard 95 EF XR8 manual diff size is. Is it the 9" or 8 3/4"? and is it definately a 28 spline. I need to know as i am putting a mini spool in to get rid of the lsd as im tired of having a single spinner for the last 3 years. If anyone is able to help much appreciated.

Gudday mate,my diff is 8 3/4" and is straight out of a ef xr8,3.45 ratio.I just had a shop over here called "diffs R us" rebuild it for me.Cost was $330 n.z.Oh yeah,he told me that all ef diffs are 28 spline,he reckoned some of the last eds were too..
