Engine Bay-should be painted

I can't understand why FORD don't finish of their engine bay and rear boot with a nice gloss paint to match the exterior paint,it would just finish of these vehicles maybe it's to do with economics and saving a few bucks,if this is the case then it should be available at a reasonable cost to the owner.I was lucky that i was able to get mine done through some connectons at Ford and it really does finish of these great vehicles.
Cheers John

I dont think the engine bays are a different colour i just think that they are a matt finish as opposed the gloss finish on the outside.
Can someone clarify this???
