Hi all, just wondering if anybody has any DYNO PROVEN costs and/or power improvements for any of these extractors for the BOSS 290, any opinions and/or FACTS would be much appreciated before I throw a grand in a hole for nothing. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! That bloody MOD BUG has bitten me again

have noticed you have
1. Exhaust-Herrods ?
2. Cold air induction, SS or big mouth ?
3. Herrod air injection.
why not just stick with Herrods, if it is a Herrod exhaust system the headers are made for it, were as Pacemakers and Dephillipo may have different conecting angle's.

Rod could lead you down the right path, he's been testing different headers from different brands, so far i think the pacemaker 1 5/8 has been best, but not sure if they decided to put it into production yet. I dont think he's tested the herrods system yet on his pursuit...maybe this friday..rod?

Id be interested in the results of the testing, as im waiting to see who does what. Im not that interested in spending $1800 or there abouts, for little or no gain. From what I hear, the stockys are pretty ok.

I have a Manta System, and a Batten cold Air induction, seems many favour the Pacemaker, and how much more do the DePhillipos cost when they have a Herrod badge on them?

I'm of the same frame of mind GT 522. I put twin 2.5 (instead of 2.25) pipes from the cats to the centre mufflers, and replaced the centre mufflers with a bolt in Manta twin 2.5 mandrel bent hotdog setup and left the rear muffler as it was, I got 6rwkw, a nicer note and more low down oommmppphhhh. It makes it a hit and miss proposition to spend another grand or two wondering about power increases, and if it was just sound I wanted I'd put a straight through rear muffler on.
