"Falcon GT" or just plain "GT" ? - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hey guys, I was just wondering if the word "Falcon" appeared anyway on the new GT. I don't seem to be able to find it written anywhere!! This would make the BA GT to be the first GT to never have Falcon written on it somewhere. IMO this is a bad move as it loses some more of it's "Heritage" as alot of the members call it, and moves the GT range away from the Falcon models.

Now you may say that HSV don't call there cars "Commodore ClubSport" or whatever but thats HSV! Here at Ford, we should be proud to have the Falcon badge on the GT, as it has always been.

I think most people out there know the GT is a Falcon. The very GT logo adopted is a name tag that you don't need to work out what the donor car is?

For mine it will always be a Ford Falcon GT. Sometimes you just don't need add-ons like badges to say these things..

When ppl talk about the legendary cars they are ALWAYS referred to as Falcon GTs never Ford GTs - everyone knows a Falcon is a Ford. Of course the Ford badge should be on the car as it always has been, but equally, if it is a GT then it should have the Falcon name there too.

I would like to see the falcon badge on the car. This would give the falcon brand a good image boost.

I did vote for the falcon badge to be on it, but in no way do i think it is needed. everyone knows that it is one, I really dont think it matters all that much IMO anyway.

My EB only has Ford and GT badges no Falcon, but everyone knows its a Falcon.

You dont need to have the falcon badge on it as people already know that it is associated with the falcon car. Also the less badges the cleaner the car looks as well
