Re: Finally! T3 engine mods under way

Thats one heavy cam your gonna run. Short gearing and high comp I can state how important these two are when modding so heavily. Reversion and pulsation will be a problem at low rpm but these are the sacrafices we make for speed.

I out of all people hope this animal kicks some butt!!!!!! I saw Laminges supercharged TE50 down at calder and it ran a 13.5, being beaten by turbocharged starlet at 1/10 the outlay. The car has never run properly and probably never will

Seen the pics and read the writeups on Minges car but have never seen the numbers- power or times........

love to know what it could do though...........

with any luck it should put as much power to the ground as a stock BA GT lol

hope it's more than that though- yeah, always keen to catch up and get others' opinions on my pride and joy- something I've always wanted to do- I reckon it will be a ball tearer......

I think the only T3 part left on that engine is the intake manifold and the engine cover, so I wouldn't really call it a T3 engine, But 13.5 out of any supercharged V8 sounds a little low.

Good luck with your build Jim, I hope your combo works well for you and you get the numbers you are after.
