Hi, quick, direct question.
thinking of flash tuning my ba 2 gt auto. how strong are these motors and boxes really?
had anyone suffered any mechanical failures with a ford flasher tune on their BOSS 290. just curious is all. thanks.

MRXD, I had my ba gt custom tuned and so far no problems except the traction control seems to lose it when you thump it in 2nd gear and it breaks loose!!! LOL

You wont have any issues as long as you dont abuse it.
High revs and side-stepping will destroy the drive-train eventually.
The engine package is fairly strong, the only real weak point is the cv joints.
Mine is supercharged and all is sweet.
