I entered the Beast at the show in sydney for the Dyno competion, not a bad result I think. It ran a 374.2 rw HP. Thats about 278.8 RW KW. Not many mods left to do. Like some I am looking for the elusive 400 rw HP. Two mods left to try. Shaker and under drive system. Can,t wait for bigger cams or something else. LOL
Shane.
It was a good run. I should have entered in the comp , but the car was used as a display for the dealer, so no trophy. The next best GTP was a 372.6hp. Same mod's as mine, fitted by the same dealer. He won the shoot out for BA V8's.
Good on you Shane well done.
Joe with the orange BA,black bonnet and black spoiler wasnt too happy he reckons they gave him boggie read outs, what do you think of Joes car?
Is yours orange as well?
Go the BAs.
Love to see a blown GT on the dyno.

He dynoed his car the day before the show and got 385,then at THE show they dynoed It with 350,thats a big difference he even showed them the report.
Its funny how cars that have had there work done by these guys got big readings and everyone else complained about there figures.

If only you could get 385Hp that would be great. The dyno comp is independent of any dealer. They run at the show every year, and have no need to run dodgy figures. If that was the case my car would have run higher. The big difference with the cars is the computor. Also a lesson don't tamper with a good system. The exhaust of Herrod's is a great system. Leave it as it comes. One of the dealers cars ( a XR8 only ran 317rwhp) so did they run dodgy figures on a dealers car as well.?.I only saw 4 BA's entered and only one complaint. Anyway a great result for the BA, there was not even a Holden dealer there to put up a Commadore against the BA. You have to ask why?

More likely the workshops doing the work on the cars are using dodgy inflated figures to make their customers think they have a shit-hot car and the dyno at the FvH show revealed on a level playing field that all dynos are created differently.
Don't ask how he compared to a different dyno yesterday, ask how he compared to other GT's on the day...
