while looking through the latest Ford News magazine, there was a crossword about the BA Falcon. To my surprise (and delight) there was a clue regarding the GT Falcons.
4. Legendary Falcon - GT ___ (2 Words)
So is this Fords suttle way of admitting there is a GT in the wings......I for one hope so!
And to quote from an Australian Muscle Car mag interview with Geoff P:

Does 5.4L = 351ci? If so, it would be great if the 351 made a comeback too. :wow:

well 5.4 is roughly 326ci im sure there will be big bore kits to hit that magic 5.8 mark sooner or later. Anyway the ci mark does not mean much anymore due to the metric system thus the 351 may mean 351kw and be a be a 351 GT! 351kw would sure give HSV a fright!
I know the 4.6 DOHC Cobra engine will be being bored to 5.0 litres soon, which if it were to have the same stroke as the 5.4, should put it around 6 litres somewhere? If anyone can find the bore of the NEW 5.0 and stroke of the 5.4 you can work it out. Try it with the Triton V-10 configuration too!!! We should start seeing 7.5 litres (up from 6.8)

To get 351 ci from the 5.4 seems a long shot. Stroke is at maxium and bore would be pretty close.
You could destroke the 6.8L V10 to get 351.. That would be a benifit too, make it a revy v10 instead of a slug v10. I belive there do exist DOHC for the V10..
V10 5.8L GTHO.. possible. unlikely..
V8 5.4L DOHC 300+ kw GTHO? Yes that will do for now.
