Pretty lame unfortunately due to the pressure from Scully and Co with regards to car advertising. But then those who own or have driven the GT will know what this car is like!
Must admit the XR6T ad was good!

Yes I thought it was lame,to me FPV car's(the GT) stood for Grand Touring and I thought this is what FPV were all about, the XR add filmed in New Zealand to me is more suited to a touring vehicle,I think a GT touring around The Great Ocean Road or alike would have been much better.(IMO).

I liked it - to an extent. There is absolutely no info about it in the ad though...and it is a pretty simple attempt. I hope it is only 1 in a series of them.
On the up side though....it looks bloody awesome!

Yep Rodderz, and it's a joke. If resorting to silly innuendo is all they can achieve to market this fantastic product then I see little point in advertising the GT at all. Holden time after time markets the emotion of owning a Holden - the one tonner ad (powerful), the circle-work ute ad (daring), the SS ad (fun, maneuverable), the Barina ad (nimble)....
Ford have some of the best products they've had in years and they're wasting this opportunity with silly ads like this... I'd suggest Geoff Polites demands all of his marketing department to go and read Naomi Klines' 'No Logo' to understand how to really do it...
Is the ad on TV yet? I was wanting to see it on during bathurst but it wasnt and i still havent seen it. Yes, i have downloaded the file and play it over and over again!
