I was browsing the pictures on my computer and i came across these 2 pics which has a Mustang with the bonnet bulge and the shaker.

It looks good but i'm wondering if FPV are allowed to design it like that for the road?

If there is a shaker that is connected to the motor in any way, then no. I spose there could be a bulge and an inlet-type box that lets air into the engine bay, but it cant be connected to the motor. This was covered in the other threads

Yes too true when retro is used properly it really gives the car some muscle rather than rice. Though admittedly some cars look good with it and some shocking. Ie Proton with flared guards off a Torana- lol

I have 5.0 Mustang magizines with articals of the Cobra R with the return of the scoop. They are plumbed up to force air and have been out in kit for in the states for about 4 months.

It would be easy enough to use the same kit on a Falcon I would emagine.

Yeah thats the new 2003 (but out now in the us i think) mach 1 mustang and the shaker is functional too. US must have different laws to us regarding it. Seems a bit rediculous that we cant have a functional scoop yet we can drive 500 horse SC bent 8's on the street if we want or twin turbo monsters!! Oh well what can ya do ?

I dont know, I'd probably be just as happy to see the black stripe without the shaker. It looks good.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I thought the Shaker posts had died and gone to heaven.

I have gone though this before. The Shaker CAN be made legal IF FOMOCO was to spend a bucket load of money getting it through the ADR.

Please no more Shaker talk!
