Was there early in the day, what happened to the factory tours? Couldn't beleive my eyes when looking at what some butchers had done to their cars in the engine bays whith stickon carbon fibre, half painted recovery bottles with overspray down the side of the bottle etc. What are those blokes on?

Some of the cars were just awesome (hell even some cars parked on the street/carparks were brilliant). And I think the drivers did a fantastic job in signing autographs for so long.

Great day.

One of the biggest highlights had to be Laminges car. After reading so much about it, and then seeing how it had all come together was brilliant.

Highlight # 2 was the engine assembly plant. Seeing all those engines lined up was mighty impressive.

Highlight # 3 was the restored GT's of yester year. There was a particular Green XY GT the first one on the left as you walked in, that I stared at for about 10 minutes. I couldnt get over the perfection of the work that went into this car.

Thankfully I went in the early afternoon and the weather held up for me. Even got a signature out of John Bowe!!
