If you havent done one....do it. You really get to find out what these beasts can do.
It was a great day and I congratulate all the instructors on a job well done.
When do the scars on the tyres dissappear? :-)
I got my "compendium" thingy in the mail early this week and it has the details of how to book in for the drive day, i have only 3000k on mine, so i might run it in for another couple of thou before i thrash absolute crapper out of it. How much does it stuff youre tyres by the way ?

M8, are you Roger? If so, why didn't you make yourself known to Andrew and myself. He had the Lightning Strike GT and mine's the Venom red GT-P. If only we had known!. But, yes, was a ball-tearer of a day. I was stuffed when I got home. You don't realize how fit you have to be to throw those things around a track. I am absolutely amazed how well the GT's go and just as impressed with the brakes, they are un-****ing-believable. Most of us got a hotl lap with Greg RITTER (V8 Supercar driver) who had a FPV GT loan car, and proceeded to give a rather distorted view of a quick lap by going virtually sideways around most of the track. Very impressive what these cars can do in the right hands. All in all, a most enjoyable day was had by all.
sorry...yeah....i'm roger..i should have spoken up
yeah...i got to sit in the front with greg on his hot lap....i reckon he was a little outa control on the first corner...but a good recovery.
and yes I agree...the brake are great.....from 170 to nothin...in a very short distance.....I tried it on the main straight...just to tect them out....I dont think ya need the Brembos...the premiums work well enough

Great day last Thursday, highly recommend to other owners just to see what these cars can do and get you more familiar with them. Just mind your throttle on the Motorkana course.......man, did some guys light them-up..

Thanks John, but let's be honest, FPV Drive Day with 23 other Ford obsessed guys and I'm going to admit to doing a bit of circuit work in a HQ?????I would have been stoned....(not by the weed either)
