Does anyone have a listing of gear ratios for the Tremec 5 speed? Also, (even better perhaps) does anyone have km/h per 1000rpm figures for GT and Pursuit manuals?

If that's the NRMA review for the XR8 it only gives top gear 56km/h/1000rpm which I assume is a 3.45:1 diff (or does the XR8 sedan also have a 3.23?????). 3.23 would then give 59.8

These are for the tremec , and the diff ratio is for the xr8 .
As you say , your pursuit may have different diff gearing .

Ratio 1 : 3.35:1
Ratio 2 : 2.00:1
Ratio 3 : 1.32:1
Ratio 4 : 1.00:1
Ratio 5 : 0.68:1
Reverse : 3.38:1
Final Drive Ratio : 3.23:1

Some interesting facts here. The reason I was asking was the moonshot gearing that the Pursuit seems to have.

max spds@6k: 1=67.9 2=113.7 3=172.3 4=227.5 5=334.5
revs@100km/h: 1790

3.45 diff
km/h/1krpm: 1=10.59 2=17.75 3=26.89 4=35.49 5=52.19
max spds@6k: 1=63.6 2=106.5 3=161.3 4=213.0 5=313.2
revs@100km/h: 1910

3.73 diff
km/h/1krpm: 1=9.80 2=16.41 3=24.87 4=32.83 5=48.28
max spds@6k: 1=58.8 2=98.5 3=149.2 4=197.0 5=289.7

Look at the gap in the 4-5 gear with a 3.23 diff!

* Gearbox (3rd time)
* Steering click (5th time)
* Brake Shudder (2nd time, and has the applied "Fix")
* etc...

Pete, you can get a 0.74 ratio if you want it. Not such a huge jump from your 0.68, but way more beneficial for a windsor pursuit/T series, as they were 0.61
