l have found after fitting a performance shaker that my fuel consumption has droped down from 16.2lt per 100km to 13.6lt per 100km, due to cold air through the shaker l have lowered engine temps and have less fuel evaporation which in turn has increased my economy and kw.

aprox 10 kw could not get an exact figure because on the dyno you dont get the full effect of raming air in as you would driving out on the road the faster you go the more air you ram in, the test was done at nizpro

It would be hard to tell the true difference with the shaker fitted, the main way to tell would be through driving on the road, wouldn't it.

THE 10 KW gain is with a standard CAI.
if i was guanteed 10kw over what i already have (SS CAI) i would consider it...

It would probably do the same as the CAI at the front of the vehicle, apart from it is visual.

but with a ss cai it does not shake or move around when you plant the foot, with a shaker you get to see what your engine is doing while your driving and people love that and there is also the power gain you win both ways.

true the best way is on the road if l give your car 3-4 kw and you drove it you wouldnt even feel the diffrence but 10-12 you would for sure and with the shaker you can definately feel the diffrence.

The shaker doesnt suite the newer cars i rekkon. Leave them for the older cars like xw.xy's etc...
