I have noticed over the last 6 months a realy bad smell in the car once i start driveing, the car can sit in the drive way and warm up for 10 min and not a thing, but after 2 min of driveing there is a smell that almost makes me sick, if i stop the car, the smell goes away after 30 seconds, I've had the guys at Etheridge ford look at it and all they did was spray some air freshoner in the car, BUT if the roads are wet and it's raining the smell doesn't happen Has any one else had this problem !

Turn the aircon off, put it on fresh air and drive around fo a couple of days see if that gets rid of it, also drive with your windows down, It sounds to me like its got mould growing in the aircon........Hope this helps....

Both, i can have the air con on or air from out side comeing in and it still stinks and i have to drive with the windows down but the last couple of days have been raining early in the mornig (6 AM), so on the way home when it stops raining the smell comes back,the thing that has me is that you can even smell it in the boot !

Nope, no pollen filter fitted !
It's realy got me as what it can be as when it's wet the smell doesn't happen, and the whole car has the smell even in the boot (drive to the shops and put the stuff in the boot and there is the smell) I'm going to have a look under the car today to see if i can see anything like the heat shielding touching or auto fluid leaking on to the exhaust ? as the smell only happens when i start to drive not sitting in the drive way warning up !

I might be way off base here......but......when was the last time you had a bath ?? Try having a bath/shower and then go for a drive, see if that "smell" still lingers. Can your passengers smell anything ?? if not they just may be too polite, get a good mate to go for a spin with you, if it's you he will let you know.

I'm not to sure on this but i don't think it's my personal hygiene as i have 3 showers a day, Either that or it's the way that i drive (sideways)
