F6, no stripes, climate control, no auto, 6 speed manual, prem sound std
GT, new wheels, new stripes, bonnet decal, 6 speed, prem sound std
GT-P, new wheels, new stripes, bonnet decal, 6 speed , prem sound std, supercharger (just kidding)
Anyone else heard anything.

Let him that hath understanding count the number of the BEAST:
for it is the number of a F6 Typhoon; and its number is 0217.
So what differs between the GT and GT-P? apart from the "-P"? i'd assume Brembos would maintain a GT-P standard an option on GT. Where does the climate control come in?

BA XR6 - December 2002 ~ Soon to disappear if Ford CRC can't fix it....
45,000km service coming up - and i'll be asking for a sizable list of fixes:
* Gearbox (3rd time)
* Steering click (5th time)
* Brake Shudder (2nd time, and has the applied "Fix")
* etc...
I wish FPV would release a pure GT, no air-con, no leather, no fancy interior bits. Just a povo pack around a GT driveline.
Both of the cars that they would sell would be REAL collector's items.....

But then it wouldn't be a GT would it. GT = Grand Tourer, not speed freak. If they wanted to really do something they would copy the Mustang GT-R 2005 Concept.
Have it complete with cambered wheels for ultimate cornering performance, bigger brakes than the current brembo's (6 pistons fronts for example), high diff ratio to mate with the T56 gearing, something like that Mustang 4.56 (optional for taller ratios like 4.11 and 3.73). Aluminium or carbon fibre drive shaft... you know the drill.

Can see it now. Sitting at the lights in the middle of summer, sweating my guts out with no air-con, burning my legs on the vinyl seats, and no music to distract me from the excellent time i'm having. But hey it sounds tough and I look cool..... right?
