Spent a good 4 hours looking around and taking photos . Some seriously nice Fords to see , and well worth the look . The FPV BA Galaxie definitely had me drooling . Good to see a few of the FF fellas had the flags flying
A great day .
Off the topic a little , whichever retard made the decision to do roadworks on the Hume Highway , you should be knobbed up the kyber with a big black one . :AAHHH:
it was a great day, good to catch with a few ff guys n gals.
also it was an added bonus to find out that fpv have used my car and also charliewools for the fpv promo movie, that was shot at calder driver gt day last year.
cheers.
Was a great day, FPR's new headquaters is great but so bloody clean!!!! was great to meet lowndes and Seton again and good to see some of the cars from the forums, I noticed the two on the FPV promo vidio and the parents finally joined the XR club of Vic, cannot wait for next years.
It was a great day so many wonderful Fords on display, the quality was excellent and the judging must have been hard,it was really good to see so many Fords from interstate participate and congratulations to all.
On our club front the FPV & XR cub of Vic. took 4-5 awards with Anthony Famularo winning again in his Red EF XR6,while Danny Lewis also won two consecutive awards with his Black AU XR8 and i believe its For Sale .Another special mention should go to Ray Woollard in his Red TE 50,this car has now won 3 years in a row for the best T-Series.,a great feat as there were quite a few T-Series on display, and to all the others who missed out great effort dont get too disappointed there's always next year and it could be your turn.
Cheers John
Here's a couple of pics of the day. First is our beloved Forums Director, Russell after making a successful purchase at auctiion of Glen Seton's overalls. 2nd is edited. 3rd is a nice shot of our cars in front of the Fordforums display. Lastly is a shot of this year's V8 Supercars of Craig Lowndes and Glen Seton, both of which are GT's.
Was a good day today, good to catch up with some new faces as well as the regulars, it's good that all of us are seeing one another at certain meetings and FF events. Share stories and info on our experiences with BA's, thats whats it's all about.
Good to see FPV/FPR expansion, Ford are really on the up over the next few years
Nice purchase Russ, all going to a good cause too,I didn't realise it was you who bidded the highest for Seto's overall's, I did wonder who it was though, are you going to frame them?.
It was a great day, and probably the best $2 ever spent. It was great going into the new FPR buildings and having a look around. I hardly think thats a real factory, its clean and stuff!
But what was the deal with that eyesore out side the FPV headquaters... the one with the big 'Fordforums' sign :wnc:.......

Surprisingly they actually fit - albeit a bit snug but then he's in MUCH better shape than me. They will be cased though. Definitely a worthwhile cause and it was good to see the enthusiastic bidding.

The roadworks were bloody unbelievable! My god it was slow!
GREAT day though.
PS: I'd love to see the Galaxie 500 polished up a little (exterior design wise) and then released as a limited FPV model or something, it looked so horn.
was talking to someone there today they said the Calder drama’s are over and Bob Jane is going to fix things up $26 million going to be spent on Calder & Adelaide raceway, that might explain why the guy in the fast track garage started building Auscars 3 weeks ago again....
