Good success at Ford/Holden Show

While the Ford and Holden Nationals show at Melbourne has come to an end,it was a huge success judging by the big crowds that came in over the weekend and it will be bigger and better again next year as the Melbourne Show will be holding the Finals. There were some magnificent cars on display especially some of the older GT's and likewise of Holden too but we won't talk much about them, the new GTP's caused huge interest from the public but luckily for me the Blue beast beat Cam's red one for the State Champion Ford BA GT,the judge must have liked the blue colour instead(go Blueprint) only joking,While Cam was unlucky he did win an award at the Dyno in the BA GT category, while on the dyno the results were a little bit dissapointing from memory it got 298 hp at the rear and looking at the graph it wasn't smooth at all but according to Rob Herrod the computer chip will be re mapped when Cam has run it in at 10,000k"s it should and will give plenty of more HP or KW's when it is tuned no problems about that,go Herrods.
Other winners from our club was Ray's TE 50 still undeafeted Champ,Danny's ute of cause won again as the best Ford ute,Clair's new BA XR8 won her class,Benny's AU XR8 also won the best in it's class and there were a few other winners, all did a fantastic job over the weekend.good effort.
Cheers John

The show was awsome... Any one seen the blueprint colour XY GT near the ticket booth? I think it was next to the green XB GT?
Oh god, that XY was unreal, it made me drool!

The colour is actually called Tru Blu. Thats the car that was on the Car Show a few weeks back. Excellent restoration, and a killer colour

Re: Re: Good success at Ford/Holden Show

I'd say there's something wrong with your cars guys 222rwkw with Full Zorst and chip and filter. Something is wrong I tell ya..

The GT's should be doing 220 - 225rwkw standard not with a full Zorst and chip and filter that should be around 250 - 260rwkw's

Come on guys what r u doing. :s6:
