Goodbye Mandarin & Velocity, Welcome Menace

Just been on the FPV site and had a play with the new designer, which lets you change colour/stripes etc on any FPV.
While I was on there, noticed in the colourator that there are going to be some colours dropped and a new purple is here - Menace, which looks like the old Phantom. seems a shame to see Mandarin go, as it's one of the better colours when combined with black stripes.

Its looks like Menace should come with a glass and a half of full cream milk and a big family block in the glove box.

Re: Goodbye Mandarin & Velocity, Welcome Menace

lol, it's similar to phantom, but more like the old 'wild violet' Ford colour than purple. It will be a love or hate colour think, much more than phantom was.

Re: Goodbye Mandarin & Velocity, Welcome Menace

Menace is nothing like Phantom, it is way lighter. More of a Mulberry color than a straight purple. The colorator never seems to be even close to what they look like in the metal. I think Menace is one of those colors that makes you wonder who would choose it, I think its horrid.

So how close is the colour it to the Cadbury repmobiles - which I must have I have only seen as Commodore Wagons?
