Sydney motorshow website says the GT will be "featured"..

I wonder how close it will be to the production model and if engine specs will be revealed?

Not much into the "powerless 300+ KW" GT. How about the GTP? will they bring it???

Don't expect there to be a big power diff between the GT and GT-P, BUT..........always remember the GTHO is still tucked away up Ford's sleeve!!!

Have heard that a GTHO will only be released if it WILL be the biggest, baddest, fastest, best Australian sedan. So just wait until we get the goods on the new HSVs and new GenIV. It will need to have more power again!!

And engine posibilities?? Supercharged 5.4, as in the GT40 (370kw) or and I know most of us would love this idea, what about the lovely V10!!! Yeah baby!!!!

V10 sounds awesome, but do the numbers 351 stir anyones juices? Stroke the 5.4 and let's really give some life to the GTHO legend once more...

I thought that had been around for a while.
It says on the FPV web-site that the GT and the Ute will be released at the SMS and the GT-P a few months later.

Will the GT be turbocharged? I'm guessing that the relationship betwen the XR8 and the GT will be like that between the XR6 NA and the XR6 Turbo. The GT-P? - based on the Fairmont Ghia? (or vice versa - the GT being luxury and the GT-P the stripper)? Both with an extra 40 - 60 kw over the XR8?

Somehwere in all the blurb I've read about the BA was the comment that Ford are preferring turbocharging over supercharging as the route to high performance.
