From all I have been able to find out, the basic difference between a MK1 & 2 GT or GT-P is the 6 speed box & diff ratio (and of course the stylish MK2 badge).

I suspect that the MK1 could be upgraded to 6speed & 3.73 for about $10k.

Maybe a better alternative to losing $30k++ as a trade in.

Current run out FPV's (GT and GT-P) come standard with upgraded leather as well.

I'd love to get the 6 speed and 3.73 for my BA XR6 NA though :)
