At the Motor Show at the Ford stand, they were prodly handing out the new FPV brochures.

I quickly noticed a contradiction, it said -

Under power & torque specs GT & GT-P, same 290kw, same Torque.

But in the text it said...'GT-P is for those wanting EVEN MORE POWER than GT'

And GT-P is for those seekng EVEN MORE performance than GT.

So, Mr Flint & Uncle Geoff, will we see a genuine 300+ kw engine ?

Not happening....
Boss 290 for GT/GT-P and Pursuit, more performance means bigger brakes and suspension gear like the clubsport r8

Performance is (and always has been) about more than power and torque numbers.

For those who were paying attention the whole thrust of the FPV concept is about toal performance engineering.

Don't worry Ford has got something really big and special up their sleves something in the order of 350kw+ for a aussie icon.

Hope there'll be a light weight racing model like the Cobra ''R'' where radio/ air con.etc is an option.. Just power, brakes and very good suspension set up.. Trouble is I beat the price will still be up there ??
