GT-P rims

I'm curious to find out whether the GT-P rims can be purchased at any time.

Do you need to have a certificate to say you actually own a GT-P, or can any joe blow like myself buy a set?

How much would they cost?

Are there any copies out yet?

Thanks in advance.

Re: GT-P rims

Can get them from Ford dleaerships. I know BA XR 18" wheels a $3500 with dunlop SP9000 245/40/18 tyres. Couldn't see GT-P wheels costing that much more.

I don't think there are copies available yet. I was told they have BA XR 18" copes for $2500 with tyres. They are bound to come out sooner or later though.

Re: GT-P rims

I hear that the stud patterns have changed...

so a set of GT-P rims would not fit an EL Fairmont?

Re: GT-P rims

Lots of questions.

Theoretically you do need to be able to quote a GTp VIN to obtain the wheels but who knows how well policed that is.

They are surprisingly cheap at around $550 a piece - compared with T1/2 wheels anyway which were twice that.

Unlike some of the BA wheels (GT included) these aren't cheap Asian rims and I've not seen knock offs yet although Advanti have the factory GT wheels available.

Hope that helps

Cheers
Russ

The offset changed, not the stud pattern. Still means they don't fit however. Well, not without spacers, which are illegal.

So, in a word - No.

Re: GT-P rims

I know that the Dunlop tyres SP9000 245/40/18 cost around $570 each, and with the wheels being stated by(russellw) at $550 each total cost seems to be around $4480.
To JimBoSS what wheels and tyres are you going to put on and why ?
Cheers John
