GT Seen in the flesh... - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Was standing at the bust stop the other day when what should stop in front of me at the lights but a brand new GT Falcon. Full body kit (blue as opposed to the white of the car itself), and there in all it's glory!

For those that haven't had the good fortune of seeing one (either at SMS or on the road), and those that persist in knocking the apparent 'softness' of the car, wait till you see it in the flesh. This thing has balls! The bonnet bulge (which is the right way around if you ask me), the big driving lights, the rear spoiler - the whole thing looks 1000 times better in the flesh than the pictures.

Unfortunately didn't get to hear the full sound of the V8 as the driver took off slowly - i think he was trying to be inconspicuous (cos he could in a brand new GT!), but if looks and on-road presence count for anything, ford have it down pat with this thing! Well done Ladies and Gents - the best styling effort to come out of Tickford/FPV yet!

Have seen it a few times.. Looks quite good to me.. even with the mocked up kit on it..

One of my mates rang me while at work a couple of weeks ago to rub it in that he was cruising along next to a Acid Rush FVP GT.
Man was I envious. Car still had bra's on it, but strangley the badges were showing. He said it sounded sensational, even while plugging through the Western Highway/Deer Park traffic.
Of course, the drivers of these vehicles must have some fun, and as he could see my friend trying to keep up, he'd just give it a little to make it hard to get a decent look of the front.

I heard that production of the DOHC V8 engines have started.
I also heard that the GT will be like $61 700 something like that.

Yeah well - much and all as I loved the GT, a bust stop is probably about the only thing I can think of that would have drawn my attention away!!!
