FPV owners, have any of you fitted a towbar ? How does it look, pictures please.
The best information I can get is that a hole is punched out of the rear bar. I have seen this on BA XR8's and yuck.
My current AU has the channel towbar, where the ball is on a section that slides into a square channell.

Here's a pic of one fitted to a GT-P. The hole doesnt actually punch out,you have to cut it out. But when you remove the bumper to fit the tow bar there is an outline on the inside of the bumper that you cut it to.

Looks just about as neat a job as the sill panel extension supports - and that's not a compliment.

I prefer the way the AU towbar works, but I dont have the rear skirt to deal with. I guess when it arrives I can always remove the ball.

Apparently you cant get factory fit. Hence the debate rages on regards to dealer fit.

It'd look 100 times better if the only hole in the bumper was the space the towbar actually takes up, as seen on some other cars.

Because of the tongue for the safety chain the bumper would not be able to be completely taken off to fit it.

That looks shit to be honest. If they are going to just cut holes in the back won't this mean that the paint will start to peel off around the edges? Why not just make the insert like the standard Falcon bar.
