Did anyone that attended the Melbourne GP see the Acid Rush GT that occasionally came onto the track to do demo laps in between races? It was cruising around with Ferraris and other exotic cars.
It had the black stripes down the side which made it stand out a mile away. That was the first time I had seen a GT on the road and bloody hell did it look mean or what? Those four glaring eyes and black stripes near the fog lights made it look tuff! I am all for the stripes now that I have seen them in real life. They really add to the aggressive look of the GT. The only thing that looked a bit dodge on the car was the middle column in the rear spolier. I liked the original GT spoiler without the support column.
Besides that FPV are definatly on a winner judging by the attention the GT was getting in Melbourne.
Whoever was driving didnt gun it so I couldn't hear the exhuast note :(
It was probably a mocked up 6 anyway, so there wouldn't have been any exhaust note.
And yeh, the black stripes on lime green does look good, but I'm not so sure about the red/orange on blue! Hopefully you can order the stripe colour as well as the car colour. In fact i reckon the black stripe would look good on any of the GT colours (except black, in which case a silver or white stripe would do).

Each body colour has it's own stripe colour, you can't pick the stripe colour. See the FPV site for combinations.
Acid Rush is the yellow, Citric Acid is the lime. The GT at the Grand Prix was Acid Rush, and I don't see why it shouldn't have the Boss 290 under the hood.
Yeah i got some photos of the GT as well as the Mercedes pace car the Gt did sound a tad quiet but i didnt hear any harsh accelerating as for the Mercedes, what a note.

Looks like a BOSS 290 to me.......
