"Well, unless Holden change the rules of V8 supercars " Holden dont make the rules to V8 supercars, the cars are only allowed 5 litres of displacement , why do you think the ls1 never made it there. The rules are there to even the field, maybe they need more rules then cause damn HRT just keep carving.

Ps i would like to see a stock GT compete in nations cup. pfft
oh and while your talking advertisements , could the falcon xr8 ute break the speed of sound, because i distictly remember them advertising they could. Stop picking on a damn add.

Because the cars will have to come into the pits every 2 laps to top up the oil

Let's hope we see the GT-P in GTP soon enough. It's the only place that you get a little idea of how good a road car can be, barring the legal drags. And as for Nations Cup, well going on the Monaro situation, that's entering into fantasy land now anyway.
Once apon a time I thought that GTP was stocky's with free exhausts and fuel injection systems, so I don't know where a 7L C5R comes into it.
As per VXLS1's thoughts, I too would like the GT to be racing near showroom specs, otherwise what's the point? Mod 'em enough and we'd have another V8 Supercar series.
Russell.
