That car looks bloody sexy, even with the stripes. Congrats dude. I tell ya the GT(P)'s certainly look the treat when Herrod has got to them with the new suspension and exhaust. Congrats again dude.

more pics . . . the car went to Herrods before the dealer got it.

mmmmmm Herrods. . . . . . arghhhhhhhhh

In these pics the car is now at the dealer going through the fastest Pre-delivery known to man.

I like the Herrod logo on top of the motor. That should get me at least 5 more HP.

There pics are under body with the Herrod Zorst.

The dealer said the fitting on the zorst looked like factory . . it was that well fitted.

I think the round tail pipes look better than the original ones. You really have to see them up close to notice the difference.

these are the camber / caster kit. Herrods of course.

There are those sweet Brembos. I usually spend money on making my cars go faster, so this time I had to change my attitude a little.

Those tyres have heaps of grip. Wonder how long that will last?

Looks like i have a bit of work to do on them yet.

Re: GTP Arrival AT LAST - Red w/stripes

Sweet as. I love it. Makes me wanna trade the XT (7 months old) in for an XR8. Hopefully a good tax cheque for me and it will go on some new springs. What kind of springs are they GTP 200???

more underbody bits.

Will the underbody of the car ever be this clean again???

Those black clips were very tight on my car, the earlier GTs were loose.

Springs . . . they are Herrod Springs. Rob would know which springs they are. They didnt affect the ride much at all, except for better cornering and "dumped in the ass" look

The Black bar photo: My Data Dots are there, inside the clear coat spray stuff. I cant see the numbers, but they tell me they are there.

I love those extractors. They sound better than they look :)

By this time the guy at Ford was asking me if he should leave the car up there for the night. One grin from me and it was down in a flash. I needed to drive it and put some numbers of the Odometer. You see, that is my job.

its now down on the ground and getting its first bath.

Number plates are being fitted by the nice ford man.

At this point the people from the service dept are giving me strange looks because im taking photos of a bloke fitting my number plates.

I dont think thats weird. Do you?

I knew at this point it would not be long before Id be starting an experience I'd never want to end.

Now at this stage I was getting very itchy fingers. Only moments away and I was seriously thinking of ditching the camera and taking the car, but then all you guys wouldnt be able to see this if I did that.

Just as I hit the road, it rains. T/C on and operating.

Hmmmm, A thristy bugger. I hope 25.8 L/100km is only a test thing.

The car tells me that it likes Optimax for its thrist. Who am I to argue?
