GTP Tail light, BLACK or CHROME? Vote - Ford Forums

Im testing a black strip just below the rear tail lights instead of the chrome.

What do you like better? Black or Chrome?

Chrome is Factory Standard
Black is Cam's Modification

Remember I did it to see if it would match the 2 black stripes along the side of the car.

Chrome is better, classier and gives it some necessary "detail" in the rear end. I can see what you're trying to achieve, but I'm convinced you won't get it through those black inserts.

As it is in that shot, the black inserts look like cheap and nasty plastic, very low rent. It's something that Holden would do!

There is very little in the way of chrome on the car anyway, so please don't kill any part of it.

That chrome piece has long bugged me. Go the black.

I'd also pull the rear lighta apart and paint the bezels black which would provide a subtle and cool change to the tone of the tail lights (think VY SS).

Its funny you have decided to do this as back in the days of the xw-xy gt's the chrome mouldings around the lights and rear window were black as well.

I quite like it go the black.
