Just received my renewal notice ,as my GT is coming up to be year old.
Last year i paid $1,759 for Comprehensive,NCB Protection ,Rating 1,No Finance on it and Market value which would have been $93,000 all up,which was not bad i thought.Well this years Premium has gone up to $3,301.01, as you can well imagine i was a bit flabbergast about it,looks like i'll be shopping around which dosent surprise me at all from what i hear about Ford Insure and their Insurance Broker Swann Insurance.Looks like they dont want our bussiness,in the mean time i'm waiting on a phone call from the manager to explain their reasons,should be interesting to hear their comments.

Is that for an agreed value or market. If it is for market then they are doubly ripping you off. If it is agreed value what value do you have it insured for?

That's what they do John, and I'm affraid your biggest problem now if you look around at another insurer is finding one that will cover your mod's, mine also went up this yr but not as much as your's.

I Believe most insurance companys have raised prices since last year, my 2003 rodeo is insured for 42k, first policy was $450, this year they want $580 ?
I ended up with CGU after doing the same exercise - mine had much the same rise as yours and I ended up with $1280 with CGU. A couple of others were in the same ball park but the CGU policy looked like the better deal.
