Hi all,

Hoping someone can give me some advice.

My GT's got a problem.

After a recent 'complimentary' service, the 'throttle' warning light keeps popping up. Usually under medium to heavy acceleration, but sometimes when i'm simply going from 2nd to 3rd gear.

Not happy.......

PS: I was planning to drive to Sydney this weekend and have it checked in Sydney, is it a good idea to drive it up???

I'm planning to drive to Sydney tomorrow and drop it off at a dealership up there.

Any good one's in the Sydney area?

I can suggest three that i wouldn't give a billy cart to unless I had to.

Mate I had the same problem in my XR8 ended up getting the whole accelerator peddle assembly replaced been fine since. Shouldnt hurt driving it although mine got worse every day driving it after about 500k's was coming on all the time and affecting power.

Mine did the exact same thing, only came on under medium-max acceleration. They replaced T/body and pedal assembly. Didn't seem to make any difference in driving like Wades, been perfect since.
