"How to build Cars and Kill the Competition"

Good name for a book i spose...

With talks of the HSV getting the 7.0L V8 from the Corvette, which Holden also want to sell in Australia, do you think Ford should offer a GTHO with the 427 V10 as in the 427 concept car, or a 7litre version of the Hurricane V8?

My thoughts: XT, Fairmont, Fairlane: 6.2 - 280kw
XR8, LTD: 6.2 -320kw
GT/P: 6.2L V8 - 350kw
GTHO: 7.0L Hurricane V8: 400kw

ZF make close ratio 6 speed autos that can handle 750Nm of torque, so that's not a problem

I doubt that we have any chance of getting the V10. Ford Australia dont have the balls to do any like that. Its a pitty

You would also have to reserect the good ol 9" to cause that Borg Warner/Dana thing wont hold up either
