All that have had the extraordinary pleasure of owning both a BA GT and a T3 you can make your own opinions about which is better and why.

I can acknowledge that GT owners love their car and are only protecting it and their ego, just as I love my T3TS50 and are protective of it and my ego.

Each car has its good points. I wish the TS had the seats out of a GTP but I'm glad it doesn't have any oil problems or timing chain tensioner problems. But the windsor in comparison was around a very long time and shouldn't have any problems either.
I love the GT'S wheels aswell but don't care much for the azzurros on the TE50.
I love how agressive the T3 looks on the road.I love how the engines revs and gets angry. I love the gear box with its short shifter.I hate the cold mornings shifting into 2nd gear.
The gearbox roll over in neutral dosen't worry me. I bought this car because the salesman told me it was closer to a race car than the GT was. He told me the GT was refined and was smooth not what I wanted.The GT just dosen't do it for me when I'm in the car.
Finally the best way I can describe each car is the T3 is analogue power and the GT is digital power.
If you think back to 1992 with the EB XR8 and EB GT every car until the T3 got its arse kicked continously by the dark side. The T3 began the resurgence of the BLUE oval lets not forget that before the T3 ford weren't having a go. But things are definitly looking up. Lets all kick some dog rooter arse next time we get the chance!

But your right, the TE50 was and still is the only car ever too beat the HSV Clubsport in every way.
And the TS50 was the only car ever to better the HSV Senator. The BA cant lay claim to that yet, mabe the mk2 might spank them the way the T3s did....

I haven't owned a T3 but have driven one for a pretty long journey they are unique like i said before much like the ESP's a very rare car but not much credit in the Ford fratenity.I found the T3 to be very roar and the BA GT a much more refined package.Well i have both of best worlds a old GT which gives me the smell of petrol fumes and the newer type which is fun to cruz.I think the T3 fits in the middle somewhere and if i had a bigger garage i wouldn't mind one parked in the garage too.All in all there was never many built so it will be hard for most to get there bum in one but i am sure the BA GT or FPV cars will excite most.

I'm not trying to start WW3 I just want to know who has had a T3 and now a Gt. Surely not everybody is rapped 100% with either car.
Just get a little pissed when the T3 gets put down as a 3rd rate car in comparison to the BA GT. The T3 isn't a AU XR8 of any series. Its head and shoulders above them.

We aren't dreamers reality is the GT is BACK and if we go back to the GT name who can argue the LEGEND lives and i am proud to be part of something special.
