With the MK11 available now,i was wondering how many FPV vechicles they built the GT,GTP and Pursuit ute in the first series.

I was just thinking the same thing myself John! I wonder if the GT or GTP hit the thousand mark? Apparently there were 881 sold YTD to the end of September, I'm not sure about 2003.
2003 build numbers were 1,313 total vehicles made up of 569 GT, 545 GT-p and 199 Pursuits. Don't have the build numbers for this year but with sales of 818 and a stock holding at the beginning of the year that was around 700 vehicles, I'd be surprised if the numbers were very high.

Interesting? My GT which was built in late Feb '04, is numbered almost 300 higher than 569, that means they must have built almost 300 GT's alone in the first month and a half of '04, that would be including any annual holidays they may have had, busy 6 weeks for the boys, or do I have something mixed up here Russ? Do they number the GT'ps and GT's in sequence together as they are built, or separate, something doesn't make sense.

Hi John 1557 XY GT's were produced that's not incl 300 HO GT's.
The XB GT was by far the most popular GT but also ran for 3 years in total not incl coupes was 1950 and 949 coupes.

I don't know where those figure have come from Russ, but mine is a September, 03, build number 610.
