How quick is a DJR 320?

Has anyone on here actually bought a DJR or heard of one being tested?
I would have thought by now there would be some real data not just speculation.
I have read the F vs. H thread & website but it is all subjective and inclusive.
As the DJR320 is basicly a VERY Herrod enhanced XR8, I would hope that the performance would be fairly spectacular.

Strange that they are so low profile.

There is some real data on the F vs H website, including a standing quarter mile run at Heathcote. Dicky ran a 14.8478, but all the times look slow. See here for more details: http://www.fordholdenchallenge.com.a...Event6-All.pdf

If Steven Johnson did it, I'd get someone else to do it

i think the price tag is a little out of range even for some of the people here. ive 'heard' theyre not as quick as youd expect...thats not saying they are slow either.

Re: How quick is a DJR 320?

I am with sbutler. 'Style' and the rest of the stuff doesn't account for the huge price. For that sort of $$ on top on an Xr8 I would want warp 9 out of the thing.
For 50gs over the purchase price of my xr8 I would want better than mid 13s.

Re: How quick is a DJR 320?

As Ray (OFR) has proven with an exhaust and cold air a XR8 is capable of 13.6. The DJR320 has alot more than that so logic would dictate that with some km's and practice 'very' low 13 or high 12 would be possible. May I remind everybody that a GTS 300kw is a 13.3 second car and also has a $100k price ticket.

Hey Jeff, nice car mate!!!!!

Re: How quick is a DJR 320?

I wouldn't pay 100K for a GTS either !
I guess it depends on what you want from a car .. if you want pose value and can pay for it ... fine.. but if you want power then neither the DJR or the GTS really represent value for money.
